My second album "Artificial Latvamäki - Jäkälä" got finished today. It was a long process. These songs have seen a lot. Use the player below to listen to it or go to http://latvamaki.bandcamp.com
The album is out there on "pay what you want" basis. Feel free to pay nothing for I am truly honored if you enjoy the music and share it with your friends, that's enough for me.
Here's what I wrote about it.
Back in 2009 when I started working with my debut album, I noticed that I have too many songs to release just one album, so I divided them into two different groups with different styles. Jäkälä (Lichen) is the follow-up album to 2011 released album Rauta. Featuring 6 tracks with more organic approach to electronic music where Rauta (iron) was more synthesized and industrial in some way.
Most of these songs have traveled a long road with me. Some have started their journey over seven years ago. At some points along the process I thought they never see the light of day and reach the ears of the listeners. Fortunately some of them were leaked out unfinished to the internet many years ago, and I received a lot of feedback about them. This feedback was a driving force for me in my aim to cross the finishing line and apply the finishing touches to the music.
However, I didn't feel like polishing the music endlessly. In the process of mixing and mastering them I had to constantly revert to versions which dated many years back, just because they were much more original and intuitive in their unprocessed form. I had to find a balance of rawness in every track. While listening, you will find instruments and sounds that are clearly bit too loud or unnecessarily harsh. This is something I have preserved. It makes the songs play out more dangerously and unexpectedly and as such they much better serve their purpose of being mirrors into my soul.

Artificial Latvamäki Album #1 Out NOW!
Finally. Fucking finally. After years and years of working to the point of breaking down and rising again like lego brick towers to the sky - I've finally put it out - my debut album "Rauta".
After frustrating myself, trying to get record labels to release it like I wanted it to be, not like they would like it to be, I have decided to put it out for free - pay what you want. Atleast for the first couple of weeks. Or for as long as the free downloads last (yeah, like they would run out, hah).
It's 7:36 in the morning and I've been working all night for this. I hope it's worth it to someone out there listening. It's a beautiful spring friday morning, my name is Dallas Wayne and I say Yeeee-Haa!

It Is Now Also Not EP - Out Now
I just finished uploading "It Is Now Also Not" EP to Bandcamp. Many people have been asking for this EP to be released because it features the epic "It Is Not Now Either" supported by Ellen Allien and James Zabiela amongst others.
This EP concludes the old releases that I will be uploading, next up it's going to be brand new material. And later, my album. Stay tuned. Now listen to this:

Pöly EP digitally remastered and digitally released
Pöly EP is now out in bandcamp. Remastered and ready for listening and cheap download.
The nice thing with bandcamp compared to beatport for example is that the royalty% going to the artist is 75% in bandcamp when for me it's 5-10% in beatport, which is something like 0,122 euros or less per song. So in conclusion downloading from bandcamp supports the artist and dowloading from beatport supports shit. Happy listening!

Now I'm thinking about putting the next EP, Pöly, up there as well. However, I don't know if they limit the amount of songs I can upload, I hope not, because I think the freedom that comes with being able to choose what I can release on my own will boost my interest in working with music. I've already made plans for future releases, and I will release my album this way in the near future.
So here's my bandcamp page!

Old B-side from times of Mänty EP
I found this old song from my computer. It brought back a lot of memories from 2004. Quite different style than what I've been doing later. It was done at the same time as Mänty EP, which was released on Trapezltd.
