Today I started collecting together all the unreleased good-quality material that I have lying around and noticed that taking only the best ones I am looking at 97+ minutes of songs, that would easily make a long player and with little effort, 2 long players.
Here's the tracklist. Some of them can be found as a demo version somewhere, like from the LWE podcast, or here from this blog. Final versions will differ, naturally.

Failures (in remixing Guy Gerber and in life)
Once upon a time, back in 2007 or so. Cocoon asked me to remix Guy Gerber. I was thrilled! And up for it. I did four different remixes for them -- 3 got rejected and one (the third one, the best one in my opinion) was rejected because "it was not a remix, but my own song." We were also in talks to release that one as my own song together with another piece, which was ready. None of this got out! It was a difficult situation in life for me in many other ways too, and this continued rejecting without any concrete feedback really broke my back. I stopped writing music for atleast 6 months and decided to pursue to get my life back together. I was working with 2 albums back then, both I threw into the trashcan. Now listening to the first remix I did back then brings back memories, good and bad. But I think it's good and I don't see a reason not to release it. Here it is. The first of four attempts. Haven't listened to Guy Gerber since.
Guy Gerber - 2 birds 1 stoned (Aki Latvamäki Remix) by Latvamäki
I'm planning to strip these versions of the crappy berber-material and make them my own songs one day and release them on a CD-r if not on youtube. Other 2 versions can be found from my soundcloud page.

"Now A Series Of", A study of techno ambient
Here's something I did yesterday, while reversing some samples and sampling everything that came into my mind. Featuring chinese opera singer and demonic indian speech. I thought this sounded a bit like old Kompakt stuff with a new twist. However... these days... I'm so frustrated with record labels, that I don't even feel like sending it to anyone, or even finishing it. So here it is, straight out from the drawing table, first rendering of "Now A Series Of". If you like it, I could try to write more of similar songs. MP3 also available on request.

Day off from Music
Today I had my day off from music. Or I was supposed to have a day off, but instead I only worked with music... Now I'm finishing it off by uploading some music. Here it is.
Diana Next Door by Latvamäki
She lives next door. She has a high pitched voice. She's named after a princess. A dead princess.

Broken Gear
Everything seems to be breaking apart. I wonder if there's something wrong with my apartment's electricity, as everything else seems to be fucked up, so why not that too. First my mixer (cheap & shit Soundcraft EPM-8) broke down, now one of my crappy monitor speakers (KRK RP5) stopped working in similar fashion. They just don't power up. I seem to have the worst of luck when it comes to electronics staying intact. I just recently bought a Roland JX-3p with a PG-200 controller and on the first show I tried to play them, the controller didn't work. I don't have the finances to get a new mixer or new speakers. So I guess I am not producing anything before I do.
Are modern electronic appliances only meant to last for 2 years?
Stay away from these models, if you can.
